PROJECT OVERVIEW
This client approached us with a clear challenge: to maximise very limited wall space in their bedroom, working collaboratively, we designed a bespoke wardrobe solution that made use of the wall containing the connecting door to the en-suite. By seamlessly integrating storage above the door and cleverly disguising the door itself as part of a bookshelf-style facade, we created a sleek and cohesive run of wardrobes. The result is a stylish and functional feature wall that not only offers ample storage but also conceals a hidden entrance to the en-suite, blending practicality with a touch of intrigue.
Workshop Build
Bespoke Craftsmanship with Thoughtful Detail
Precise measurements were taken to ensure every element of the wardrobe storage fit perfectly within the designated space. To achieve the book-shelf facade, we installed a new door and incorporated it seamlessly into the overall design. Back in our workshop, we constructed the carcasses and frontage, carefully factoring in the ceiling pitch to create a smooth and tailored fit. At the clients request, we added decorative moulding to the wardrobe fronts and faux books to complete the illusion of a built-in bookshelf. All components were crafted from high-quality sheet material, with decorative elements expertly applied and finished. The entire piece was then professionally spray-painted by our sister company, GL Spraying, for a flawless and durable finish.

By carrying out the majority of the build in our workshop, we were able to make the installation process quicker, clean and efficient. This approach allowed us to minimise mess and disruption on site, ensuring a smooth fitting experience that had minimal impact on our clients day-to-day life.
