PROJECT OVERVIEW
Our clients came to us with a unique vision: to transform their understair space into a safe, quiet haven for their new golden retriever puppy Rusty. They requested a secure, lockable door with drawer and cupboards to neatly store all his accessories. We also designed a separate coat and shoe storage for the owners and a custom dog gate to keep Rusty safely off the stairs.
Workshop Build
Precision Design and Craftsmanship for Rusty’s Under-stairs Haven
After carefully removing the clients existing under-stair cupboard, we took precise measurements of the open space and collaborated with the client to design the perfect area for Rusty. The new design included a cozy space for Rusty, a cupboard, a drawer, and internal lighting to ensure he feels comfortable even at night.
Every component was expertly cut and assembled in our workshop to guarantee a flawless fit and smooth functionality. Once built, the pieces were disassembled and sent next door to our sister company, GL Spraying, where they received a professional spray-painted finish for a stunning final look.
Fitting
Seamless Installation Day
On fitting day Rusty was safely locked after at his grandparents house. With all the carcasses pre-made in our workshop, the installation progressed smoothly. The lighting channels had been precisely cut to accommodate the dimmable lighting , and the remaining components were carefully assembled, cut and scribed on-site to fit perfectly against the walls- ensuring a flawless, tidy finish.
